Our client based in Maryborough, is looking for hard working, fit and reliable farm staff to work on their poultry farms.
With a strong focus on team culture, safety and fast paced environment you will be required to be both physically and mentally fit to ensure you become an integral part of their team and culture moving forward.
The work will require you to be standing on your feet majority of your shift.
Heavy lifting will be required. This position is 5 days a week and must be available for weekend work.
Duties will include:
* Bending and picking up chickens up to 7kgs
* Floor walking
* Repetitive and physical work
* On your feet majority of your shift
* Bird culling sick birds and picking up dead ones
* Collecting mortalities and checking feed/water systems
To be considered you must:
* Have current driver's license and reliable transport due to remote farm location
* Do not own any poultry, birds and pigs
* Strong safety focuses and quarantine awareness
* Good time management, be punctual and hardworking;
* Ability to work well in a team;
* Positive attitude and good work ethic
* Must be reliable
