Senior Credit Manager
This is a challenging role for a Senior Credit Manager to join our client's team in Australia. Our client is a highly resourceful International Bank with a remarkable presence in the Australian Financial Market.
About the Role:
The Senior Credit Manager will be responsible for performing credit risk assessments of various transaction types, including M&A, Project Finance, Leveraged and Trade Finance. They will cover diversified sectors such as Infrastructure, Energy, Mining, Real Estate & Natural Resources.
* Prepare and present credit due diligence reports, rating recommendations, risk alert assessments, and on-going monitoring of credit performance.
* Liaise with business functions to facilitate credit application and approval process.
* Provide guidance to ensure appropriate action is taken to mitigate potential risks associated with customers, industry sectors, and transaction structures.
* Other credit and risk management tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* At least 3-5 years of experience in analysing structured transactions.
* Independent decision-making skills and ability to identify risks with reasonable solutions.
* Ability to write comprehensive due diligence reports.
* Tertiary Degree in Commerce / Business / Finance.
* Good knowledge of Corporate Finance & Institutional Banking products.
* Proficiency in MS Excel for financial modelling, data manipulation, and analytics.
* Excellent verbal and written language skills; proficiency in Chinese Mandarin is desirable.
