About The Role
This is a temporary part-time role, 24 hours per week with a possibility of extension due to ongoing funding. You will be required to work across our Grand Pacific Health Wollongong and Shellharbour offices and headspace Services. Days of work are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
You will be the first contact for consumers and visitors both face to face and over the phone. You'll provide exceptional customer service while ensuring a smooth and efficient operation at each service. We deliver a range of programs to the local community including mental health counselling, family counselling and allied health services.

Duties
* Provide high quality administrative support
* Greeting and assisting visitors, answering and directing calls, and ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment
* Respond promptly and sensitively to consumers who may be anxious or distressed
Skills & Experience
* Relevant qualifications in administration and or a combination of relevant training and experience in a similar role
* Strong organisational skills including the ability to prioritise work, manage multiple tasks and competing priorities and meet deadlines
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proven experience in delivering high-quality customer service in a front-of-house or consumer-facing role
* Ability to engage effectively and respectfully with a wide diversity of people, including those experiencing mental health difficulties or distress
* Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently when required but also to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others as part of a team
* Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and understanding of confidentiality and privacy principlesProficient in the use of MS Office applications and other software applications such as CIMS
About Headspace
headspace provides support to young people aged 12-25 experiencing mild to moderate or emerging mental health issues. The multidisciplinary team at headspace Liverpool work to improve health, social, vocational and educational outcomes for young people.
Grand Pacific Health is the lead agency of headspace. We are a not-for-profit, primary health care organisation providing locally-tailored, high quality physical and mental health services across NSW and the ACT.
