ASIS is Australia's overseas secret intelligence collection agency. Its mission is to protect and promote

**THE OPPORTUNITY**
The primary role of the Officer Safety Logistics team is to enable and manage all aspects of logistics,
lifecycle and asset management with a focus on enabling equipment, such as vehicles, protective
equipment (including weapons), and other tactical capability requirements.
As a member of the Logistics team, you will be responsible for the coordination of resources and the
procurement, management, issuance, and transport of enabling equipment. You will work closely with
internal and external stakeholders to enable operational deployments, acquisition/ maintenance/
disposal of equipment and vehicles. You will use your logistics expertise to assist stakeholders to plan,
develop, source and manage procurement arrangements.
We require a dynamic team player who enjoys working variously with stakeholders, team members and
individually on projects. You will be able to meet tight deadlines and work to support ASIS priorities. The
role will feature domestic and international travel.

**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

Undertake simple to complex procurements, using appropriate sourcing strategies.
Plan and coordinate the transport of vehicles, stores, and protective equipment both interstate and
overseas.
Liaise with a range of external stakeholders across multiple domains - including the ADF, ABF and
AFP, as well as private contractors and industry suppliers.
Conduct fleet management of specialised vehicles and equipment.
Manage assets by maintaining accurate records including stock holdings and equipment lifecycles.
Identify, mitigate and escalate procurement risks enabling ASIS to meet its obligations.
Assist with servicing and maintenance of vehicles and protective equipment.
Work with limited supervision and track multiple processes.
**EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**
The following qualifications, skills and/or experience will be highly regarded:
Acquisition, procurement experience and demonstrated track record of planning and executing
procurement tasks (highly desirable).
Experience or familiarity with ADF and/or law enforcement personal protective equipment and
weapons systems (highly desirable).
A strong foundation and understanding of civilian protected vehicles (highly desirable).
Automotive technical experience such as auto electrician or mechanic (desirable).
Previous experience in fleet management (desirable).
