Greater Shepparton City Council, situated in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, is the fifth largest provincial centre in Victoria and has a well-developed economy due to its strong agricultural and irrigation base, with major industries related to food processing, manufacturing, transport and health care. The Goulburn Valley is often referred to as 'The Food Bowl of Australia' as around 25% of the total value of Victoria's agricultural production is generated in this area.
Greater Shepparton has a population of approximately 69,000 and is culturally rich with 17.4% of residents being born overseas. The area has excellent education, recreation, cultural, social and health facilities and tourism is a developing focus for the region.
Early Childhood Teacher
Hourly Rate: $34.02 to $58.96 per hour (rate dependent on level of experience and validation)

Frank Pullar Children's Centre is seeking a dedicated part time early childhood teacher in our funded kindergarten program. In this role you will have the opportunity to work as part of team of experienced teachers, build meaningful relationships with the children and contribute to a warm, inclusive learning environment.
The position is 10.5hrs per week, across a Tuesday (3.5hrs) and Wednesday (7 hrs) until the end of the year.
Applicants must hold the following current qualifications and certificates:
* Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent recognised by ACECQA)
* Current HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting
* Current CPR – HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
* Criminal History Check (valid within six months).
* Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
* Protecting Children – Mandatory reporting and other obligations early childhood

Note: This position is subject to a 6 month qualifying period in accordance with the Fair Work Australia minimum employment period. During the qualifying period employees will be provided with appropriate on-going induction, support, assistance, resources and training to enable them to meet the required performance standards for the position.
