About This Role
The Fleet Manager is responsible for driving GAC's fleet sales growth by identifying key corporate and government customers, building strategic relationships with fleet companies, and supporting the dealership network with training, proposals, and targeted sales strategies. This role also involves market analysis, performance reporting, and close collaboration with internal teams to deliver tailored mobility solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet Sales Strategy Development:
1. Identify and target key fleet customers, including corporate fleets, government agencies, rental companies, and other high-volume buyers.
2.Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for growth.
Building Fleet Company Relationships:
3.Establish and maintain strong relationships with fleet companies, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
4.Act as the primary point of contact for fleet customers, addressing their needs and providing tailored solutions.
5.Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and negotiations to promote GAC products and services.
Supporting Dealership Network:
6.Work closely with dealerships to identify and pursue fleet opportunities within their regions.
7. Provide training and support to dealership sales teams on fleet sales processes, product knowledge, and customer engagement.
8. Assist dealerships in developing customized proposals and solutions for fleet customers.
Reporting and Analysis:
9. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required.
Additional Responsibilities:
10. Undertake other tasks assigned by the company or senior management, demonstrating adaptability and responsiveness to evolving business needs.
What We Are looking for?
1. 5+ years of experience in fleet sales, business development, or vehicle sales within the automotive industry.
2. Proven track record in developing and executing successful fleet sales strategies.
3. Strong understanding of Australia’s fleet market, including corporate, government, and rental segments.
4. Demonstrated ability to build and manage long-term relationships with high-volume fleet customers.
5. Experience supporting or working within an automotive dealership network.
6. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
7. Strong analytical skills for forecasting, reporting, and market analysis.
