In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical systems across our production facilities.You will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement in a fast-paced dairy manufacturing environment.* Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production & processing equipment* Diagnosing and repair mechanical faults while ensuring compliance with food safety standards to support production priorities* Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment and upgrades * Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with WHS, GMP, and HACCP requirements* Accurately document maintenance activities using SAP (training provided)* Collaborate with production and engineering teams to drive equipment reliability and process improvements* Contribute to a culture of food safety, ensuring maintenance practices consistently meet regulatory & business standards**About you:*** Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter with experience in manufacturing or industrial environments* Comfortable working a 4 on and 4 off roster, and 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night).* Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and process systems.* Experience in dairy or food manufacturing (highly regarded).* Positive attitude toward digital systems and continuous improvement.* Excellent communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach.**We'll support you with:*** A structured onboarding, training and transition plan.* A collaborative and safety-focused team environment.* Uniforms, PPE, and relevant shift allowances provided under the EBA.* Career progression opportunities within a global organization.All applicants require full Australian working rights at the time of applying.
