Supernormal is on the hunt for a talented Sous Chef to join our leadership team.
Supernormal is a Melbourne institution with a contemporary Japanese aesthetic. The refectory-style dining room is flanked by a long, open kitchen and bar; downstairs lies a secret space for events, parties and karaoke.
Our menu is influenced by the flavours of Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai and Hong Kong, delivered with generosity and warmth.

As Sous Chef, you'll work closely with the Head Chef and senior leadership to:
* Lead and inspire a large, diverse kitchen team
* Maintain high standards across service, prep and presentation
* Drive consistency, efficiency and calm under pressure
* Support training, development and culture in the kitchen
* Contribute menu development and continuous improvement
* Uphold food safety, quality and cost controls
You are someone who:
* Has strong experience as a Sous Chef (or Senior CDP ready to step up)
* Is confident leading teams in high-volume service
* Communicates clearly and leads by example
