About the Role
We're looking for a practical and proactive Maintenance Officer to ensure our care community remains a safe, functional, and beautiful home for our residents at Warrnambool Place Care Community.

What You'll Do
- ✔️ Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and minor projects across our care community and gardens.
- ✔️ Ensure our home meets all safety and compliance standards, including WHS regulations.
- ✔️ Respond promptly to maintenance requests, minimising disruption for our residents.
- ✔️ Manage maintenance supplies and equipment within budget.
- ✔️ Work as a key part of our team to create a safe and welcoming environment.
What You'll Need
- ✔️ Experience in a maintenance, handyman, or groundskeeping role (aged care experience a plus).
- ✔️ A practical, can‑do attitude and excellent problem‑solving skills.
- ✔️ Strong knowledge of WHS practices and a commitment to safety.
- ✔️ Good communication skills and a friendly, professional manner.
- ✔️ Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- ✔️ A trade qualification or ‘Test and Tag’ certification is highly regarded.
- ✔️ Willingness to complete:
- Pre‑employment medical
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
