The Role:
As our new Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the efficient coordination of assigned site activities, while maintaining all quality, safety and environmental requirements.
This role requires close coordination with Site and Project Managers to ensure subcontractor compliance, project programs and budgets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure site safety and ensure all procedures are monitored according to the Project Safety Management Plan
Monitor progress of works against the current construction program and ensure all trades are coordinating with each other
Participate in safety/toolbox meetings, discussing OHS, environmental factors, and quality issues each
week
Continually inspect works to ensure that they are constructed in accordance with the engineering
designs, contract specifications and authority requirements
Monitor the progress of construction works and advise project teams and clients of compliance, or
otherwise, against project requirements
Coordination of site logistics, materials, and resource allocation
Report to senior management on a regular basis and advise of any current or potential issues
Ensure the Site Diary is completed by the COB each day with fully recorded information
About You:
Trade or tertiary qualification in Building, Construction or Engineering
Current First Aid
Minimum 1 years' experience in commercial construction
Proven ability to analyse & interpret building contracts and any other contracts connected with
Property Development, Building and Design
Experience in, and a clear understanding of Quality, OH&S and Environmental Management systems
