Benefits: This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Part-time faculty are eligible for a 25% NWCCD tuition discount for the employee during the semester teaching.
Months Worked Annually: NA. Typical Work Schedule: Ongoing recruitment. Adjunct faculty applications are open year-long. Departments may refer to the pool of part-time faculty applications on file. Candidates are expected to have experience successfully teaching both in the classroom and online. The college plans to expand course offerings at partner campuses.
Job Summary
Provide high-quality instruction in accordance with the approved course outline of record.
Participate in general faculty functions related to the educational program and faculty development activities including assessment of student learning outcomes (SLOs).
Assignments may include day, evening, fully online, hybrid (partially online) and/or weekend courses.
Part-time, temporary, hourly assignments are on an as-needed basis. Part-time faculty meetings are conducted the week prior to semester start. Course outlines of record, student learning outcomes to be assessed, and department policies will be provided or reviewed.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the field.
Must have current CPR, Nitrous Oxide Permit, Local Anesthesia Permit, and Wyoming Dental Hygiene License.
PhD or Master's degree in the discipline or an approved field.

Job Duties
Instruct classes as assigned.
Participate in general faculty functions related to the educational program and faculty development activities.
Assignments may include day, evening, and/or weekend courses or online. Use of Canvas as a Learning Management System (LMS) is required for all courses. Applicants must have a laptop computer with reliable access to WIFI. Faculty must adhere to NWCCD's Canvas Course requirements while ensuring effective contact with students.
