## Job Description:* Full Time / Fixed Term until the 29 April 2027* Challenging and rewarding work environment* Friendly and dynamic team**About the Role**An opportunity currently exists for a Grade 2 physiotherapist to join the physiotherapy department. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high quality, overall physiotherapy management to the rehabilitation patients of the Kew campus of St George's Hospital. The role is also responsible for supervision of students, Grade 1 staff, and Allied Health Assistants and taking a leadership role within the department and other duties as directed/delegated.Applications from current grade two physiotherapists or suitably experienced grade one physiotherapists will be considered. Relevant postgraduate qualifications would also be highly regarded.This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic physiotherapist to join a cohesive and progressive integrated team, committed to excellence in clinical practice, research and professional development.Must have, or be currently eligible for, National Physiotherapist Registration.Classifications for this position will be VB1 – VB4 ($90,235.60 - $103,724.40 per annum).**Duties include*** Provide appropriate clinical management for all rehabilitation patients* Assessment, planning and treatment including education for all rehabilitation patients* Communicate assessment and treatment outcomes to nursing, medical and other Allied Health staff via documentation and handovers.* Clinical supervision and teaching of physiotherapy students, both undergraduate and postgraduate, as required* Develop and promote new initiatives regarding service provision**Your Contribution*** Recent experience in and knowledge of physiotherapy management in an subacute health care setting, particularly rehabilitation* Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team* Knowledge of and commitment to continuous quality improvement* Experience with student supervision* Superior written and verbal communication skills**What we offer*** A focus on wellbeing initiatives, with regular events and programs* Confidential, solutions-focused employee counselling* A healthy work/life balance encouraged.
