**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our team on an iconic project in the Snowy Mountains, NSW. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for inspecting and installing equipment and new technologies, directing crews or workers on site, conducting research, and reporting on project status.
The successful candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications and a minimum of 3 years' experience working in the construction industry in a similar role. They will also have strong communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively and under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting research on site
* Inspecting equipment and technologies
* Communicating with clients to determine needs and explain complex issues
* Managing field activities and implementing engineering designs
* Diagnosing construction or machinery problems and resolving malfunctions
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Relevant tertiary qualification - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
* Minimum 3 years' experience working in the construction industry in a similar role
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work collaboratively and under pressure
* Sound interpersonal skills
* Ability to work to deadlines and targets
* High attention to detail
