The OpportunityA national, multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior / Principal Environmental Consultant to help lead and grow its environmental approvals capability across NSW. This is a senior, client-facing role combining technical delivery, team leadership, and business development within a well-established consulting environment.Working closely with senior leaders, you'll oversee approvals projects, Environmental Impact Assessments, and mine closure planning, while supporting the growth of the environmental practice and mentoring a small specialist team. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and deliver environmental approvals and statutory assessmentsManage Environmental Impact Assessments and mine closure projectsMaintain and grow long-standing client relationshipsIdentify and secure new work opportunitiesSupport and mentor junior consultantsCollaborate with leaders across engineering and advisory teamsContribute to strategic planning and practice growth initiatives About YouYou're a well-regarded environmental professional with strong technical depth and commercial awareness.
