Your opportunity
Join our Library Services team, where we foster learning, teaching and research through exceptional client support and access to world-class resources. As a Library Technician (Library Experience), you'll be part of a collaborative, service-driven team that helps students and staff engage confidently with our physical and digital collections.
You will make an impact by:
Providing friendly and professional frontline support to students and staff, both in person and online
Applying your technical skills across key service areas, including collection acquisition description and access, document delivery, unit readings, repository management and lending services
Supporting the maintenance and promotion of library collections, spaces and equipment to create safe and welcoming learning environments
Using library management systems and digital tools to provide efficient access to resources and enhance user experiences
What you will bring
You're detail-oriented, curious and passionate about supporting positive learning experiences in an academic environment. You enjoy variety in your work, from customer service and systems support to collaborative problem-solving, and take pride in delivering high-quality, accurate service.
To succeed in this role, you will also need:
Experience in providing client services using library management systems and advanced communication technology skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in managing collections, systems and processes
Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with diverse users
Proven teamwork, negotiation and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
Proven organisational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to peaks and troughs in workload
It's not essential, but we'd love it if you have:
A background in library, TAFE or academic environments
Eligibility for Library Technician membership with the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA)

Your opportunity is:
Full-time, continuing (permanent)
Located at Coffs Harbour, NSW 2450
HEW Level 4. The base salary ranges from $75,500 - $ 81,079 per annum, plus 17% employer's contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $94,862.
