Job Summary / Overview
The Senior Test Engineer is a hands-on technical leader within the verification team, responsible for planning coordinating and executing verification activities for autonomous haulage solutions. The role ensures assigned features and system-level behaviours are thoroughly tested and meet performance reliability and safety expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Translate requirements and work packages into structured test plans and procedures
* Coordinate execution of functional integration performance and reliability tests
* Ensure traceability of tests back to requirements and safety objectives
* Verify end-to-end workflows across distributed autonomy systems
* Supervise and mentor Test Engineers ensuring consistency and quality
* Review and approve test cases for completeness accuracy and traceability
* Lead defect triage reproduction documentation and re-testing activities
* Collaborate with systems engineers developers and product owners on test scope
* Identify test risks gaps and enforce safety protocols
* Provide regular reporting on test execution defect trends and coverage
Required Qualifications
* Strong background in system-level testing of distributed safety-critical systems
* Practical experience with autonomous systems robotics or industrial control systems
Skills & Competencies
* Test planning design execution and defect reporting
* Experience with HIL and SIL environments
* Ability to lead small teams while remaining hands-on
* Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
