LMS Energy is at the forefront of emissions reduction and renewable fuel innovation across Australia. We are currently recruiting for a full-time or part-time Carbon Markets Project Officer located in Unley, SA or Brisbane, QLD.
Play a key role in delivering real climate impact. Reporting directly to the Manager – Carbon Markets this position will support the Commercial team to deliver on key objectives through effective engagement and collaboration.
In the role of Carbon Markets Project Officer, you will be tasked with the end‐to‐end administration of ACCU Scheme projects across LMS and joint‐venture portfolios including new project registrations, variations and method transfers. Sitting at the centre of project delivery, you will undertake ACCU calculations and crediting claim submissions, manage third‐party data inputs and coordinate audits as required. Strong written and verbal communication skills will enable you to effectively engage with key stakeholders including the Clean Energy Regulator, clients and other internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities
* ACCU Scheme project administration including registrations, variations and method transfers for LMS and JV projects
* Support the preparation of periodic ACCU calculations and crediting claim submissions for LMS and JV projects
* Support the analysis of variances in ACCU generation
* Source third party data to feed into ACCU project applications and crediting claims
* Maintain and update internal ACCU registers
* Maintain and administer multiple Unit and Certificate Registry accounts, including user setup and access management
* Support month and year‐end accounting processes relating to ACCU generation
* Provide backup support to the Settlements team for ACCU transfers within the Unit and Certificate Registers
* Support coordination of third‐party audits, including collation of documentation and responses to auditor RFIs
Requirements
* 1–3 years' experience in a similar administrative or project support role
* Basic data analysis skills and ability to interpret and validate datasets
* Exposure to audit processes or regulatory reporting environments is desired but not essential
* Carbon Industry experience is desired but not essential
* Australian Drivers Licence
