Disability Support Worker – Social Connections (Benalla Day Program)
At Scope, we celebrate people. We are looking for a vibrant, fun and passionate Disability Support Worker to support young people with disabilities in our Benalla Day Program. This role is casual, 1 day per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 3:00pm.
About Scope
Scope's purpose is to create meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive. Scope is a registered provider under the NDIS and delivers a range of services, including supported independent living, short term accommodation (respite), social connections, lifestyle options, therapy and employment services across Victoria and NSW.
Role Overview
This role requires a fun and vibrant person with a passion for supporting young people. You will work with a team and specialists to create meaningful opportunities for people with disability.
Responsibilities
* Support clients to engage in outdoor and hands‑on activities such as swimming, sports, art, music, gardening or cooking.
* Provide respectful and dignified personal care and daily living support.
* Promote independence and inclusion in the community.>
* Communicate proactively with team members and supervisors to report progress or concerns.
* Maintain positive and welcoming relationships with families, colleagues and other service providers.
Qualifications
* NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance and Working with Children's Check (Employee).
* Current Level 1 First Aid & CPR certificate.
* Valid Australian working rights and an International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more one (1) year within the last ten years.
