About the Role
You'll be working closely with our Local Sales team to increase our market share and revenue by turning lapsed or new local businesses into active ACM customers. This is a hands‐on role where you will prospect for new leads through networking and cold calling, while developing persuasive pitches that convert prospects into long‐term partners. This role will include a portion of account management, where you will grow existing accounts.
What You'll Bring
* Proven Sales Track Record: 3-5 years of face‐to‐face sales experience with a demonstrable ability to hit revenue targets
* Strategic Thinking: The ability to provide solution‐based marketing strategies and navigate a competitive market
* Community Connections: A strong understanding of the Newcastle / Hunter region is highly regarded, with existing local networks a definite advantage
* Communication Excellence: You are a confident negotiator and presenter with intermediate digital literacy including Google Suite
* Drive & Autonomy: A self‐motivated approach to achieving objectives with minimal supervision
* Mobility: A current valid driver's license and a well‐maintained vehicle
