About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant/Specialist Anaesthetist to lead and innovate in regional Queensland.
This is a senior role where your expertise will directly shape the development and future direction of anaesthetic services across the region.
* The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in providing comprehensive anaesthetic services, including surgery, obstetrics, trauma, ICU and perioperative medicine.
* Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be working closely with multidisciplinary staff and teaching and supervising registrars and junior doctors.
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
* Providing high-quality anaesthetic services to patients across the region.
* PARTICIPATION IN THE ON-CALL ROSTER WITHIN APPROVED SCOPE OF PRACTICE.
* Supporting evidence-based practice, quality improvement and service expansion.
* OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP SPECIALIST INTERESTS (REGIONAL ANAESTHESIA, OBSTETRICS, ICU, PAIN MEDICINE, PERIOPERATIVE MEDICINE, WELLBEING, EDUCATION).
