Quality Inspector / Service Agent
This building company is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Quality Inspector and Service Agent to carry out pre-handover inspections and general maintenance works in residential properties. The successful candidate will liaise with clients and property managers, complete rectification works, and ensure all tasks align with company policy and quality standards.
Role:
* Follow pre-handover inspection and service procedures
* Contact clients promptly and schedule works within business hours (7:30am–4:00pm, Mon–Fri)
* Present professionally, arrive on time, and provide a customer-focused service
* Work autonomously with strong communication skills
* Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and workmanship
* Accurately complete and return work orders with notes and photos where required
General Maintenance Competency Required:
* Tile replacement and re-grouting (non-waterproofed areas only)
* Silicone and gap filling
* Painting and timber repairs
* Hanging and adjusting doors, windows, and locks
* Basic plumbing
* Cleaning and general property upkeep
* Lawn mowing, whipper snipping, and basic landscaping
* Fencing and gate adjustments
Requirements:
* Excellent customer service skills
* Willing to travel between Port Mac and the Hunter Valley for work
* Good scheduling and organisation skills
* Handyman experience
* Career growth ambition
* Ability to work in the Port Macquarie office when not on the road
* Active contribution to the office culture and willing to be part of the team
