Canberra | 3–5 Years PAE | Boutique Firm | Immediate Need
Your new company
Our client is a reputable boutique private practice experiencing sustained growth and seeking an experienced Lawyer or Senior Lawyer to join their high-performing team.
The firm is well known for providing accessible, fixed fee, client-focused legal services, including wills and estates, probate, trusts, SMSFs, and ACT/NSW conveyancing.
With a continued increase in new matters, this role has been created to support the expanding workload. The incoming lawyer will step into an established practice with strong client demand and minimal need for supervision.
Your new role
This role is ideal for a Lawyer or Senior Lawyer with 3–5 years' post admission experience, who is confident managing files autonomously.
You will handle a diverse range of matters, including:
1. Simple and complex wills, powers of attorney and estate documents.
2. Probate and estate administration, including guidance for executors and beneficiaries.
3. ACT and NSW conveyancing across residential and small business property matters.
4. Advisory work involving trusts, SMSFs, and estate structures.
Due to the firm's busy and fast paced environment, this is not a role suited to graduates or junior lawyers. There is limited scope for training from the ground up. Instead, you will enjoy autonomy, meaningful client interaction, and the ability to immediately contribute.
