Job Description Summary
The Territory Manager (TM) will be responsible for achieving sales targets in all hospitals within the South Australia territory for Biopsy products. This includes providing clinical support to customers, establishing strong relationships with key decision-makers, and ensuring timely follow-up on leads generated through marketing campaigns. The TM will also conduct regular visits to stakeholders such as doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and procurement officers. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong organizational abilities, are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
1. Achieve sales targets by building strong customer relationships and creating demand through effective selling techniques.
2. Develop and implement strategies to penetrate target accounts (hospitals).
3. Identify tender and rate contract opportunities and prepare proposals accordingly.
4. Conduct product presentations to various customer groups including doctors, nurses, and pharmacists.
5. Organize conferences and seminars to educate customers about our products.
6. Monitor competitor activities and stay updated on new product launches or pricing changes.
7. Maintain accurate records of sales transactions and customer data.
8. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to medical device promotion.
9. Provide market feedback to the Marketing Department regarding trends and consumer preferences.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Science, Pharmacy, or equivalent; Master's degree preferred.
2. Minimum three years of experience in the Medical Device industry, with a proven success record in similar roles. Experience in Oncology/Biopsy is highly desirable.
3. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all organizational levels.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
7. Good negotiation and persuasive skills.
8. Highly motivated, proactive, and positive attitude.
9. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
