About the opportunity
* Research evidence based practice and implement into current practice.
* Identify and prioritise the professional development needs of staff.
* Develop, implement and evaluate learning activities across the organization in collaboration with the Quality Manager and relevant managers.
* Implement, facilitate and evaluate effective clinical orientation programs for clinical staff new to the environment.
* Develop and implement, monitor clinical competencies.

To be considered for this position you will need to meet the following criteria:
* Qualified Registered Nurse with current APHRA registration
* Post graduate qualifications in education & training or working towards
* Previous experience in clinical education
* Knowledge of contemporary nursing and evidence based practice
* Knowledge and experience in leading and managing change
* Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
* Understanding of Subacute educational requirements.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
* A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
* Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.

* Minimum of three years full time equivalent post registration experience with demonstrated recent experience in Child and Family Health Nursing
* Demonstrated recent experience in clinical teaching, with experience in the delivery and evaluation of education programs
* Training and Assessment (TAA) qualification or Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or currently enrolled in the program.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
* Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written), and proven computer skills and literacy
* Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills.
* Current valid NSW Drivers Licence
