Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our healthcare nutrition team as the Regional Manager - Specialist Team (Hospital and Community). This is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Melbourne, overseeing high-performing regional teams across Victoria, South Australia, and Western Australia. Your focus will be on developing regional strategies, leading teams, and building stakeholder relationships to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Territory Management: Develop regional goals, monitor tenders and contracts, identify risks and opportunities, review performance quarterly, and manage field teams based on KPIs.
2. Team Management: Manage and coach Product Specialists and Key Account Managers, develop team competencies, lead change initiatives, and collaborate cross-functionally.
3. Customer Focus: Understand regional customer landscapes, identify opportunities, and develop strategies to enhance our healthcare nutrition offerings.
4. Collaboration & Networking: Build partnerships with stakeholders, understand healthcare professional behaviors, and align field strategies accordingly.
5. Product Knowledge: Maintain high product expertise to effectively communicate with stakeholders and coach team members.
6. Market Analysis: Monitor local market trends, competitor activity, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
About You
You are an experienced Sales Manager with a background in healthcare nutrition, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals. You excel in team leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic planning, with a passion for driving innovative solutions and fostering industry relationships.
Ideally, you will have:
* Healthcare sales management and/or key account management experience (nutrition/dietetics preferred)
* Registered Healthcare Professional, dietitian, or similar qualifications (desirable)
* At least 2 years’ experience in team management
* Strong commercial acumen and business planning skills, ideally in a regulated environment
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Proficiency in IT systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with knowledge of Power BI
* Willingness to travel to SA and WA as needed
