Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team at Box Hill Action Indoor Sports Stadium. This is a casual role, offering flexible hours to work (estimated 2-3 days/week) at our sports complex located in Box Hill South, VIC. As our Handyman, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our facility to ensure a clean, safe and functional environment for our customers.
Responsibilities
* Perform general facility maintenance tasks such as carpet & vinyl repair, tiling, painting, and net repair (on the job training provided).
* Some regular and specialist cleaning and vacuuming.
* Assist with the set-up and dismantling of sporting equipment and event materials.
* Respond promptly to requests for maintenance and repairs from the management team.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Handyman or in a similar cleaning/maintenance role.
* Strong practical skills across a range of general hands-on tasks.
* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
* Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
* Flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to respond to changing priorities.
