Due to continued growth we are seeking a Qld Licensed Electrician to join our team working in our Loganholme warehouse and workshop facility.
About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Electrician, ideally with industrial experience and exceptional problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude. We are looking for a team-player who is also able to perform warehouse duties where required in a small team environment.
Optionally, this role may also suit an individual who is looking for a permanent part-time postion with flexibility in working hours. This role may also suit an individual who is approaching semi-retirement.
Responsibilities and Duties include:
* Commissioning, servicing, repairing and modifying electric winches and related products
* Design and construction of electrical controls and cabinets
* Fitting rope to winch assemblies
* Testing of winch assemblies prior to dispatch
* Using and maintaining a variety of warehouse equipment and tools
* Testing and tagging electrical appliances
* Accurately updating all data into computer and manual recording systems
* Ensuring a clean, presentable and safe workplace at all times for staff to work
* Understand and practise all workplace OH&S policies and procedures
* Observe all company policies and procedures

Skills and Experience
Qualifications
Drivers Licence
Qld Electrical Licence
Forklift Licence (preferred)
Skills
Experience with industrial electric motors and controls would be an advantage
Basic hydraulics knowledge would be highly regarded
Excellent verbal and written communication
