About the Role
A Retail Sales Assistant at Baby Bunting will deliver exceptional customer service, foster a positive shopping experience, and support new and expectant parents on their journey. The position is a Permanent Part‐Time role located along South Road.
Responsibilities
* Customer engagement – connect with and understand the needs of new and expectant parents, providing personalised assistance and product recommendations.
* Product demonstration – guide customers through product features and benefits to ensure informed choices.
* Stock management – maintain accurate stock levels and keep the store well‐presented and organised.
* Flexible scheduling – work a rotating roster of shifts across weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
Qualifications
* Prior customer service experience.
* Ability to work in a fast‐paced retail environment.
* High standards in customer service and store presentation.
* Proficiency in calming irate customers and resolving issues with empathy and professionalism.
Physical Requirements
Able to lift up to 15 kg between floor and shoulder, 10 kg above shoulder height, wear a headset, and stand or walk for prolonged periods.
