About the Role:
The Chief Services Officer will oversee service delivery for a leading not-for-profit organisation supporting unpaid carers, with a focus on complex service environments like health, aged care and disability. This role requires strong leadership and governance skills to ensure safe, effective and high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide executive oversight to ensure all services are aligned with national standards and legislative requirements.
* Lead large-scale program delivery while strengthening governance systems that safeguard quality, accountability and risk management.
* Shape the organisation's strategic direction, ensuring contractual compliance and embedding a culture of service excellence across aged care, carer support and disability programs.
* Combine strategic thinking with operational insight, bringing expertise in governance, contract management and workforce leadership.
Requirements:
* Strong people skills, commercial acumen, clinical governance expertise and experience delivering frontline care services.
* Demonstrated expertise in clinical governance, with a clear record of safeguarding quality and safety in service delivery.
* Strong knowledge of compliance requirements and risk management frameworks.
* AHPRA registration as either a Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker or Physiotherapist would be advantageous.
