Joining us on an initial 12-month contract, 3 days a week, the IT Support Technician is responsible for the day-to-day IT support of end-users and focuses to continuously work towards an improved end-user satisfaction, leveraging Red Bull’s IT service management processes as well as Red Bull’s overall IT guidelines. The person maintains an up-to-date and secure inventory of end-user’s devices and Red Bull Australia’s office IT equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

o Delivers professional end-user IT onboarding (leveraging and contributing global standards)
o Organises and provides day-to-day IT support by diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues
o Ensures timely and effective resolutions, pushing for fast resolutions, including remote functions (service owner, remote service desk)
o Provides professional and regular IT service communication towards end-users
o Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve challenging technical issues and implement preventive measures

o Ability to configure, and maintain servers, networks, and other IT systems
o Coordinate with the IT Manager and Regional IT team to implement system upgrades, patches, and updates
o Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions

o Ensure an up-to-date and accurate IT asset inventory within Red Bull standards/tools
o Coordinate end-user device rollout and device replacement cycles for client computing hardware, including peripherals (e.g., screens, headsets) and mobile devices
o Manage the RMA process for client computing and/or backend hardware components
o Organise necessary IT facilities and adhere to Red Bull IT standards for State offices

EXPERIENCE


Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, with long-term working rights in Australia.
* Experience in IT support/administration (preferably 1+ year).
* Customer-focused approach and passionate about technology. Ability to work 3 days a week, Monday to Friday.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
