Key Responsibilities:
* Lead financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to AASB and public sector financial regulations
* Prepare high-quality financial statements, leveraging technical expertise to drive business outcomes
* Collaborate across teams to identify and implement financial efficiencies and process improvements
* Liaise with internal and external auditors, preparing audit documentation and responding to queries
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to inform strategic decision-making
About You:
* Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is essential
* CPA or CA qualified (or working towards – strongly preferred)
* Demonstrated government experience is crucial
* Proven ability to manage month-end processes and produce compliant financial statements
* Experience working with auditors and leading audit preparation is necessary
