This Job opportunity is Part-Time, Monday to Friday for 25 hours per week.
Essential Criteria for Successful Applicants:
* Efficient and capable of cooking with the ability to follow a set menu.
* Experienced in bulk meal preparation, online ordering, stock management and budget control.
* Strict about complying with relevant food safety and hygiene regulations and standards.
* Able to cater for individual child requirements including allergies and specific dietary requirements.
* Keen to participate in the early educational opportunities of teaching children about healthy food by sharing in lessons and family events.
* Possess a professional and enthusiastic attitude.
* Help nourish the children in our care with your culinary expertise as well as any input you may have to contribute towards growing our own fresh produce.
* Be a positive person who will develop strong relationships with families, children, colleagues and the community.
* Have a current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain).
* Current Food Supervisor Safety Certificate (or willing to obtain).
* Have a current First Aid Certificate including CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training (or willing to obtain).
* Experience or education within an early childhood setting will be highly regarded.
