As our **Deceased Accounts Officer **you will report to our **Team Manager - Deceased Estates **with key responsibilities relating to providing professional, timely and high-quality administrative support to deceased customer's families, solicitors, third parties and internal customers. The position is primarily responsible for providing administrative support to Branch staff, internal departments and third parties to ensure that deceased accounts are processed through the banking system in accordance with legislative requirements as well as relevant policy and procedures.
This team has a long-term retention rate that reflects their strong culture and flexible working conditions. The role is a hybrid position that can be done predominantly from home.
Systems used include (but are not limited to): RFS-A and RFS-B, Doxgate (for queue management), workwear, Amazon+, LINKS & BENflow.
As our new **Deceased Accounts Officer **you will bring the following skills:
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Proactive, innovative and prepared to go the extra mile to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to work within tight timeframes with the ability to prioritise.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment or autonomously.
- High level of literacy skills.
- Highly accurate approach with strong attention to detail.
- General understanding of accounting practices as they relate to debits, credits and balancing.
- Ability to prioritise, monitor and organise workflows
