About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the highly regarded Access Cardiology team in Nedlands, Western Australia as a full-time Medical Receptionist and Cardiac Tech. In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our cardiac patients, while also performing essential administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of our medical practice.
What you'll be doing
1. Welcoming and greeting patients, ensuring a positive first impression of our practice
2. Scheduling appointments, managing Dr patient lists, handling patient records, and handling patient enquiries and payments.
3. Performing essential cardiac tests and procedures, such as holter monitors and ambulatory blood pressure monitors. Downloading results, maintaining equipment, and keeping track of patient queries.
4. Maintaining strict confidentiality and following all relevant medical protocols
5. Assisting with the efficient day-to-day operation of the practice
6. Providing a high level of customer service to patients and their families
What we're looking for
1. Proven experience in a medical receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting
2. Minimum 6 months experience in medical reception or cardiac testing is required
3. Strong computer skills and proficiency in medical software and databases
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with patients
5. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
6. Relevant qualifications or certifications in cardiac technology, science, or medical administration
7. A genuine interest in healthcare and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care
8. Australian citizenship is required for this position
