About the role

The purpose of the role is to provide industry information and policy advice to, and on behalf of, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania (NRE Tas) to support the development of Tasmania’s food and agriculture sectors and achievement of AgriVision 2050.

Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).

Desirable requirements
* A Degree in a relevant discipline, noting that qualifications in Agricultural Science, Agricultural Engineering, Science, Economics, Law or related fields will be particularly well-regarded.
* Relevant industry experience.
* A current motor vehicle driver’s licence.
