SkillQuest Solutions are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Educator to join a warm and welcoming Early Learning Centre based in Kallaroo, Western Australia. This well-respected centre provides nurturing and engaging care for children from infancy through to early school ages. This role supports the delivery of inclusive, developmentally appropriate programs for babies, toddlers, kindy and after-school care children.
Position – Child Care Educator
Location – Kallaroo 6025, Western Australia
Salary - $70,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation per annum
Employment Type - Full-time, Permanent
THE ROLE:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Child Care Educator to be part of a supportive early learning environment where you can make a meaningful difference in children's development every day.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Support and assist with the daily supervision, wellbeing and learning of children in care, following established educational frameworks and routines.
· Assist in delivering tailored programs that promote individual development, confidence and school readiness.
· Maintain safe, hygienic and engaging indoor and outdoor environments that facilitate play-based learning.
· Build positive and respectful relationships with children and their families to foster a sense of belonging.
· Work collaboratively with educators and leadership to implement curriculum activities and monitor children's progress.
· Help ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards in line with organisational and legislative policies.
· Maintain and uphold privacy and confidentiality at all times.
· Promote inclusive practices that recognize and celebrate cultural diversity.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
· Relevant qualification, such as a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or agreed equivalent).
· Proven post-qualification experience as a Child Care Educator of at least 1 year (preferably more), ideally in an early childhood setting or centre.
· Demonstrated ability to engage with and care for young children in a nurturing and safe manner.
· Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with children and families.
· Understanding of age-appropriate activities that support development and learning.
· Current working with Children Check (WWCC) and relevant first aid qualifications are essential.
· You must have unrestricted working rights to work full time in Australia to be eligible for consideration.
