About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Cabinet Maker to join the talented team at Taswood Joinery in Launceston, Tasmania. As a full-time Cabinet Maker, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality custom joinery for a diverse range of residential and commercial clients.
What you'll be doing
1. Interpret CAD plans and specifications to create custom joinery.
2. Operate machinery
3. Workshop manufacturing and onsite installations of joinery
4. Ensure all work meets strict quality and safety standards
5. Contribute to the continuous improvement of workshop processes and procedures
6. Proving team support and training apprentices
What we're looking for
1. Experience and qualification in Cabinet Making
2. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
3. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
4. Self-management skills with the ability to manage projects autonomously
5. Leadership, customer service, and communication capabilities.
