This role is responsible for leading and/or supporting Enterprise Risk Management programs, which include risk assessment, new product initiatives, change management, key risk indicators, operational loss reporting and analytics, issue management, and scenario analysis.
* Lead enhancements to and execution of the bank's enterprise risk programs as directed by management.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure appropriate program design from a risk management perspective.
* Provide oversight, guidance, and challenge to front line units to ensure adherence with program requirements.
* Support integration of operational risk programs and data into the bank's GRC tool.
* Develop ongoing risk reporting and perform risk data analysis.
* Develop presentations and reports to support internal and external audits.
* Develop risk management training materials to be communicated across the organization.
* Identify and escalate risks as appropriate.
Required skills:
* 5+ years' experience in the financial services industry with three or more years in Operational or Enterprise Risk at a large banking institution.
* Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
* Able to take direction, multi-task, and quickly adapt to shifting priorities.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Experience with operational losses.
* Knowledge of Scenario Analysis.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
