Aircraft Maintenance Professionals
Our organization seeks skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to play a crucial role in ensuring the airworthiness of military aircraft.
* We require candidates to carry out scheduled servicing and other unscheduled maintenance on Hawk Lead-In-Fighter and F-35 Lightning II fighter jets. This includes:
o Mechanical tasks: hydraulic, environmental, pneumatic and propulsion systems, related system components and propellers
o Avionic tasks: maintaining, inspecting and diagnosing avionic systems and components on fixed and rotary wing aircraft
o Structures tasks: producing, maintaining and repairing sheet metal, bonded and non-metallic composite material and components on the aircraft
o Armament tasks: emergency escape systems, egress systems and aircraft weapon systems from computers on board to stores and load carrying aircraft
* Candidates must ensure that maintenance and technical documentation used during maintenance is authorized for use and compliant with regulations.
* Correctly record details of work performed and gain certification within required timeframes.
* Report defects, deficiencies, maintenance errors and unserviceability to Team Leaders.
* Deliver work efficiently within fast-paced team environments.
About You
* A Certificate IV in Aeroskills or equivalent recognized training is mandatory.
* Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain Federal Government Security Clearance is also mandatory.
* Experience or interest in working with Defence Military Aircraft is desirable.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
* Ability to work effectively in team environments is necessary.
