Senior Finance Business Partner (Grade 7), Commercial Finance Team
About the role The Senior Finance Business Partner provides financial leadership to the organisation through the understanding and interpretation of financial results and trends. This role is the interface between finance, operational managers and a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure sound financial management, accurate budgeting/planning, forecasting and the delivery of high‑quality reporting.
Key responsibilities
Provide strategic financial insight and advice to Executive and Management to optimise organisational performance and support informed decision‑making.
Lead financial planning, modelling, forecasting, and analysis to support business cases, operational strategies, and resource utilisation.
Oversee month‑end reporting, external compliance requirements, and ensure robust internal controls in line with accounting standards.
Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting systems, and stakeholder engagement to enhance organisational efficiency and accountability.
What we're looking for
Bachelor Degree or Higher in Accounting/Commerce
Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia (ICAA) and/or Certified Practising Accountants of Australia (CPA) or international equivalent
Demonstrated experience in financial leadership of finance and accounting services within multifaceted organisations.
Demonstrated skills in accurate budgeting/planning, forecasting and the delivery of high‑quality reporting.
Proven capacity to analyse data, prepare recommendations and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
Proven ability to build rapport and strong, professional relationships with a range of senior stakeholders whilst managing competing priorities.
