The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages to a high standard, adhering to industry guidelines.
You will work closely with the professional chef and food services coordinator to ensure seamless operation of the café, supporting events, functions, and catering needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.
* Prepare and serve food and beverages to a high standard, adhering to Food Safety Guidelines.
* Work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues and management.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to Workplace Health & Safety policies and procedures.
* Be flexible and adaptable, working varied hours to meet the needs of the café, including evenings, public holidays, and weekends.
Requirements:
* Sound experience working in Café/restaurants and high-volume espresso bars with experience as a barista.
* Friendly, outgoing personality with a commitment to providing effective customer service and building relationships.
* Ability to work with staff from diverse backgrounds and young people who have been in care.
* Proven high level of self-motivation and ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal communication.
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
* Ability to adhere to company policies and industry guidelines.
