Ready to take your planning career to the next level with Australia's largest smallgoods manufacturer? We're seeking an experienced Supply Planner to join our team on a 12‐month fixed‐term contract, supporting a critical portfolio across Salami, Smalls & Snacks.
In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the right products are available at the right time through effective forecasting, production planning, material coordination, and inventory optimisation. Working in a fast‐paced FMCG environment, you'll help minimise waste, improve service levels, and provide insights that support operational and commercial decision‐making. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure within a complex manufacturing environment and work with market‐leading brands.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop short, medium and long‐term demand forecasts and provide insights into peaks, promotions and seasonal trends
* Create and manage daily and weekly production plans, balancing capacity, labour, materials and operational constraints
* Monitor inventory levels and stock projections to minimise waste and identify SLOB or at‐risk product early
* Coordinate raw material and packaging requirements, working closely with Procurement and suppliers to ensure continuity of supply
* Analyse plan vs actual production performance and work with Operations to address variances
* Communicate risks, constraints, priorities and recommendations to cross‐functional stakeholders
* Maintain accurate planning data in ERP/MRP systems and support improvements to master data and planning processes
* Report on planning KPIs such as DIFOT, forecast accuracy, yield and inventory health, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
About You
* 2–3+ years' experience in FMCG or manufacturing planning, including production, supply, or demand planning
* Strong analytical and data skills with proficiency in Excel and experience working with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Pronto, Dynamics, or similar)
* Solid understanding of production scheduling, capacity planning, raw material flows, and plan‐vs‐actual performance analysis
* Able to interpret data, identify root causes, and communicate clear, practical recommendations to stakeholders
* Highly organised, detail‐focused, and able to stay calm and effective in a fast‐paced, high‐volume production environment
* Proactive, solutions‐focused, and committed to continuous improvement in processes, planning accuracy, and efficiency
