Role Description
We're looking for a full-time Bookkeeper to join our bookkeeping team and support our clients with their day-to-day financial operations and compliance needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS/IAS
- Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of client accounting files (primarily Xero)
- Accurate data entry and ongoing records management
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Communicating with clients and responding to queries
- Liaising with statutory bodies (ATO, SRO, etc.)
- Assisting with reporting and general bookkeeping compliance
- Processing and supporting superannuation and WorkCover obligations
- Supporting the accounting team with bookkeeping and compliance tasks as required

Qualifications & Experience
- Previous bookkeeping experience required
- Certificate in Accounting or Bookkeeping (or similar) highly regarded
- Proficiency in Xero is essential
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
- Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
- Payroll experience highly regarded but not essential
