21st May, 2026 Mid-Level Loss Adjuster - Sydney Location - Hybrid Working, work from home with client visits - Competitive Salary We're currently partnering with a specialist loss adjusting firm that is continuing to expand its national footprint across Australia. As part of this growth, they're looking for an experienced Mid-Level Loss Adjuster to join their Sydney team and take ownership of a portfolio of property claims, while still being supported by a highly experienced national network. This role would suit someone with solid strata and/or commercial property claims or maratime experience, who is ready to step up into greater autonomy, manage more complex claims end-to-end, and continue building their technical capability in a supportive environment. You'll be joining a non-corporate, high-trust business where people are given the flexibility to manage their own workload, without unnecessary layers or process-heavy constraints — just a strong focus on quality outcomes and client service. The Role This is a hands-on loss adjusting role with responsibility for managing your own portfolio of property claims, with a strong focus on strata and commercial properties, alongside some domestic exposure where required. You'll be expected to run claims end-to-end with increasing independence, while still having access to senior support for more complex matters. The role includes regular site-based work and client engagement, alongside report writing and coordination of third-party specialists. Key responsibilities include: Managing a portfolio of property claims (strata, commercial, and domestic) Conducting site inspections and assessing damage Preparing clear, accurate reports and recommendations Coordinating builders, engineers, restorers, and other specialists Managing client and stakeholder communication across the life of a claim Driving claims through to resolution with strong attention to detail and outcomes Prioritising and managing multiple active claims independently What You'll Bring Experience in loss adjusting or a closely related insurance/property role Strong exposure to strata and/or commercial property claims (preferred) Solid understanding of end-to-end claims management Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement ability Good time management and ability to work across competing priorities A proactive, self-directed approach with attention to detail Confidence working independently, with access to senior support when needed Why This Role Step up into greater autonomy and ownership of your own portfolio Strong exposure to complex strata and commercial claims Work within a specialist, growing national firm Supportive environment with experienced senior leadership available when needed Flexible hybrid working arrangement No heavy corporate structure — focus on outcomes, not process
