The role
An exciting opportunity exists to join our busy and supportive team. Duties will incorporate all aspects of general administrative and clerical support to our partners across a broad range of matters and will include:
* Assisting with the preparation of legal documents and correspondence
* Maintaining and updating client files and records in our file management system, strong room and file archives
* Filing, photocopying, collating and organising documents
* Providing reception support as needed, answering and directing client enquiries
* Liaising with clients and other external parties, both verbally and in writing
* Working closely with other staff to ensure matters are progressed efficiently and collaboratively
Skills & experience
The appointee will need to have excellent communication skills, be keen to learn and demonstrate attention to detail. Strong literacy and computing skills are essential.
Prior experience in a law firm will be an advantage but is not essential. Experience in other areas such as business administration, reception and customer service roles would be beneficial. Training will be provided to support and develop an appointee's skills.
Remuneration will be in accordance with the Legal Services Award and will depend on the appointee's skills and prior experience (if any).

* Conveyancing and property transactions including sales/purchases, family transfers, leases, subdivisions, consolidations
