Gardenia Early Learning Clontarf is excited to introduce a brand-new Assistant Director position at our service.
This is a newly created leadership role designed to strengthen and expand our centre leadership team. We have not previously had an Assistant Director at Clontarf, making this a unique opportunity to help shape the role and work closely alongside the Centre Director to support our growing service.
This position combines both on-the-floor (in ratio) responsibilities and dedicated non-contact leadership time, making it ideal for a passionate early childhood professional who enjoys leading while staying connected to children, families, and educators.
About the Role
* Support the day‐to‐day management and smooth operation of the service
* Assist with compliance, documentation, and quality improvement processes
* Mentor, guide and support educators to achieve best practice
* Contribute to maintaining and exceeding National Quality Standards
* Build strong relationships with families and the local community
* Work in ratio as an active member of the leadership team
About You
* Previous leadership experience in an Early Childhood setting
* Strong working knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standards
* Confidence in supporting compliance and centre operations
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A proactive, positive and supportive leadership style
* The ability to build strong, respectful relationships with families and team members
* Approved Early Childhood qualification (Diploma minimum)
* Current Working With Children Check
* Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification
* Demonstrated leadership experience within an Early Learning environment
