About the School
St Francis de Sales Regional College is a Catholic Co-educational Day and Weekly Boarding School providing a comprehensive education across Years 7-12 for students from Leeton, Narrandera and surrounding rural areas in the Riverina. The school focuses on individual student development and adopts a restorative justice approach.
Your New Role
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the daily operations of the Boarding Kitchen. Your responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, assisting the Kitchen Supervisor, and ensuring the smooth flow of food preparation for boarding students and staff. The role requires attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.

Selection Criteria
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment preferred
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Capacity to maintain confidentiality
Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently under pressure
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to work evenings if required
Alignment to the values and ideals of the Catholic ethos
Current Food Handling Certificate
Willingness to learn and proactive attitude
Outstanding professionalism, including customer service skills
Willingness to complete required studies online in a timely manner as required
Current NSW Working With Children Check
Successful Candidate will undergo a National Criminal History Check and Functional Assessment
