Technical Project Manager (TPM) – Daon (Sydney, Melbourne, or Canberra) We are looking for a Technical Project Manager (TPM) who wants to apply their knowledge and skillset in enterprise web solutions based on the Daon technology stack. Location: Sydney, Melbourne, or Canberra About the Role As a TPM at Daon, you will have hands-on responsibility for TrustX and IdentityX implementations, and for ensuring successful deployments within agreed schedules and budgets. What You’ll Do Serve as the main point of contact for the communication and coordination of all functional and non-functional matters relating to a customer project Channel through which customer requirements are distilled, clarified and agreed, and Daon activities and deliverables are delivered in satisfaction of contractual commitments Stakeholder management within Daon Professional Services, and with DevOps, Customer Support, Product Management, Engineering, and Sales Liaison between multiple customer stakeholders, including business owner, DevOps, project management, Compliance, UAT, Security, first-line support, steering committee, etc Mapping of customer requirements onto the design and deployment of successful TrustX and IdentityX implementations Documentation of high-level design, decision history, project plans, resource plans, meeting notes Quality assurance over documentation deliverables Tracking and billing of delivery contracts Identification of risks, issues and other challenges, with recommended resolution to Client, Principal Consultant or Director of Professional Services Timely communication with internal and customer stakeholders Other duties assigned as the role evolves and the business develops. What You Bring Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field Minimum 5-7 years’ relevant technical project management experience Solid understanding of contemporary SDLC technologies, including Python, Java, Javascript, AWS, frameworks (React, Vue, Angular), CI/CD An understanding of enterprise systems integration concepts (reliability, scalability, security etc.) Experience in commercial (IT) project management, including contract management and SLA compliance Required Experience You are experienced in the software vendor sector, ideally in Financial Services You are familiar in the deployment of product solutions to meet the business requirements of your customers You are comfortable in managing technical and business stakeholders toward collaborative outcomes delivered in an agile framework You are capable of leading the delivery of functional and non-functional requirements on time and within budget You are of acting autonomously under the direction of the Director of Professional Services, and working collaboratively with Daon Professional Services consultants and with other Daon business functions, including DevOps, product Management, Engineering, Customer Support, Sales, Finance, Legal and Compliance You are experienced in the deployment of technically complex solutions, with a demonstrable knowledge and understanding of: Agile and waterfall project management, including requirements traceability Issue management and change management Non-functional and compliance matters Information security, including ISO 27001 Internal and external communication, including documentation, reporting, tracking, escalating SaaS applications delivered through AWS Scalable business solutions for web-based users on mobile and desktop Capable of developing a deep understanding of the business context in which Daon’s customers deploy the TrustX/IdentityX technology stack Desired - Demonstrated Skills in: Working knowledge of cloud-based platforms such as AWS Experience in information security, biometrics, Public Key Infrastructure, privacy compliance BPMN and Business Process Modelling.
