Position Overview
Leading Outdoor Lifestyle OEM – Broad Quality Management Leadership Role – Up to $150,000 + Super. Based in Brisbane's North.
This leading and entrepreneurial business is part of a large, ASX-listed company which is continuing to expand within the Asia Pacific region. Due to a tripling in projects over the previous two years the Australian team continues to increase in size and capability. The company designs, develops and manufactures numerous products and complex engineered systems that are used by people for work, sports, outdoor recreation and leisure activities. The company has a dynamic and energetic environment and offers a truly fun place to work.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
* Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with key internal and external stakeholders across sales, marketing, supply chain, engineering and production/manufacturing.
* Leading a small quality team of five people across two sites to ensure all products and services meet quality requirements and drive the company's compliance and risk management systems.
* Ensuring supplied parts comply for Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
* Leading numerous continuous improvement processes including the set-up and establishment of a new combined greenfield manufacturing site.
Desired Skills and Experience
* Professionally qualified quality manager with knowledge of QA, ISO best practice, continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.
* Experience in assembly and fabrication within industrial, equipment or automotive manufacturing sectors.
* Practical and critical thinker who enjoys working in a fast-paced workplace and proactively challenges existing quality processes and develops recent systems.
