Are you ready to take on a pivotal leadership role safeguarding vital health services? We're seeking a Cyber Security Manager to establish and oversee a comprehensive cyber security program for the Limestone Coast Local Health Network (LCLHN). This is a unique opportunity to lead the implementation of the South Australian Cyber Security Framework (SACSF) and drive digital resilience across our organisation.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Director Corporate Services, the Cyber Security Manager will be responsible for the establishment and operation of a cyber security program across LCLHN. Central to this role is a 12-month project focused on embedding the SACSF in line with LCLHN's strategic objectives and compliance obligations.
A key aspect of the role is conducting a comprehensive assessment of our current cyber security maturity, defining the desired future security posture, and outlining the capabilities, resources, and roadmap required to close the gap. By leading this work, you will ensure LCLHN is well-positioned to meet evolving cyber security challenges with a clear, sustainable, and compliant framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the establishment and operation of LCLHN's cyber security program.
- Oversee the implementation of the SACSF, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
- Provide professional expertise, analysis, and technical security leadership as the information security subject matter expert (SME).
- Conduct threat and risk assessments for platforms and applications, providing guidance on appropriate security controls.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards for data protection.
- Provide expert advice on existing and emerging cyber security trends and threats impacting health operations.
- Lead the organisational response to incidents of a cyber security nature.
- Oversee risk assessments of current and existing service technologies.
- Develop and implement cyber security policies and procedures to address organisational risk.
What We Are Looking For:
- Tertiary qualifications in cyber security, information technology, or a related field, and/or security accreditation.
- Demonstrated experience in senior management with accountability for cyber security programs.
- Proven expertise in cyber security management, incident response, and ICT security service delivery.
- Strong technical experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Experience in developing and implementing cyber security strategies and policies.
- Demonstrated leadership in stakeholder engagement, risk management, and delivering outcomes in complex environments.
- A track record of building partnerships, maintaining high-quality services, and supporting teams through change.
